&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve just read your post and the previous one and notice that both were private sales. It occured to me that the BeoCom4 is sold as a matched pair of base and handset. It may be possible that your handset and base were not registered as a pair in the factory. Just a thought but if thats the case you may be looking for a fault that doesn&amp;#39;t exist.&lt;/p&gt;
