&lt;p&gt;The digital to coax adapter sould work and deliver full 5.1 but you have to care that:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- You have the latest TV firmware installed (gives some extra features as well)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Don&amp;#39;t choose &amp;quot;PC&amp;quot; as a source (this worked for me), take DVD2 instead&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Choose digital output in &amp;quot;Sound&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;DVD Player&amp;quot; settings on your Mini&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I can&amp;#39;t get any sound from the TV, I have the mini connected to the BV5 optical digital cable -&amp;gt; converter -&amp;gt; digital coaxial cable and into the second connector behind the TV, in the first one I have my DVD player connected and it works great.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is it that I have the mini&amp;#39;s digital output wrong in some way? Or should I just give up, and connect it via RCA cables? The first option is the preferred one of-course.&lt;/p&gt;
