I have a Beosystem 2 attached to a BV4 currently it is maxxed out with connections to STB, HDR1, V8000 and DVD1. I also have a Beomedia 1 connected to the Camcorder/Auxillary socket.

When I turn the tele on it goes straight into the Beomedia 1 frontpage menu so to get TV I need to press TV again. I assume because the beomedia is on all the time the camcorder socket detects that there is something going on down the wires and overrides the TV command from the Beo5 and goes off on a beomedia frenzy.

On the Beoworld description of the Beosystem 2 it has the following notes:

"Camcorder/Auxiliary 3 x Phono sockets (video in/audio L-R in) *)

*) Possible to configure Set-top box (STB) at Camcorder input and control by STB-Controller"

So if the Camcorder socket is configurable could I stop it from doing this? Alternative how do I configure these sockets for the STB input? I could then connect the Beomedia to the Scart socket the STB is currently using and then Bob's your uncle?

All advice gratefully recieved

Gary
