Oh no don't get rid of it, get a Beovision! If you are strapped for cash, the Beovision 3 and AVANT (second hand) are really good value.

Hi ClayT,

As far as I know, the DVD2 only receives its signals through the Scart connector from the beovision TV.

(Since the early 1990's all B&O recorders have this B&O solution, in order to make it possible to hide the recorder.)

Sell the DVD2 on Ebay?

Hello,

I have been given a DVD2 recently and do not have a BEOVison. Is there anyway to control the DVD2, either with the beo4 or an alternate means?

I would really like to use this, rather than having it collect dust with no means to either play or record as there is no manual interface. Thank you for any help anyone can provide.
