Been thinking a lot of where to place them in bathroom, but the electrican solved it in one minute by telling me where the only possible placement where due to lamps, roof beams etc.

Re: Placement of BeoVox1

In England there are different zones for electric fittings that will need to be IP rated. As your speakers are not directly connected to the electrics there is no way you can get a shock from them. So in theory you can mount the speakers where ever you like. Saying that personaly i would have them in such a position that they are asthetically pleasing as well as sufficently placed to give the best sound whilst sitting on the toilet or laying in the bath. If there are ceiling joists in the bathroom ceiling/loft space these may also be a factor to contend with on placement. Hope this helps and good luck.

Placement of BeoVox1

The total make over of our bathroom has started.

I will mount BeoVox1 in the cealing (using back boxes).

Any regulations of how close the BeoVox1 can get to the shower? Thinking about 50 cm sideways from the shower, or is it even possible to have it right above the shower?
