Thanks for replying so fast!

Yes, the manufactor tjecked the socket. I also did a phonecall to B&O, who confirmed that the setup should be fine. But it was first when I contacted Philips, I found the missing link. It seems that in the case of the Philips BDP7200, the machine can't handle a audio/video(red,white,yellow-socket) to scart cable. So I probably have to return the Samsung DTB to the dealer and exchance it with a Grundig with audio/video in (and then hope the Grundig DTB can handle the the signal to the tv via scart...) ...or return the blu-ray or buy a newer tv...

Re: B&O MS 6000 and blu-ray disc player

It should be fine - Have you enabled the socket? The user manual is on here by the way - I would tend to use a SCART cable if possible though. The MS6000 uses Beo4 codes.

B&O MS 6000 and blu-ray disc player

I have upgraded my old dvd-player with a Philips BDP7200 Blu-Ray disc player, but unfortunaly theres no contact between the tv and the player. I use a video+audio to scart cable and have a Samsung DTB-H380Z between the player and the tv. I took both the player and the DTB to service to tjek if the video rca-contact was enabled, witch it was. I've even tried to connect the player directly into the tv with no luck (the same setup as with my old dvdplayer).

Since I have bought the tv on the secondhand-market without a usermanual, I have trouble to understand why some of the functions on the Beolink 1000 remote control doesn't seem not to work: forexample neither the AV-button , nor the menu button react when pushed. Don't know if its because of the limited functions of the model or mail-functions in the controller.

Is it just so, the tv is to old to work with a Blu-Ray player, or are there something I could have done wrong?

The Samsung remote should eventually work as a multi-controller and there are some codes to B&O (324 and 483) but nothing happens. Can there be other codes to older models or is the model just to old to work with the Samsung DTB?
