Not so sure... there's at least one USAF base in the UK that's on 110v. Brought all their electrical infrastructure over from the US.

Come to that, the same was true of the lighting transformers in UK Apple Stores. Crazy Americans! ;-)

Unlikely as they gave problems and some even corroded! I do like the AV9000, I have one myself, but it is really an MX6000 with a mono speaker!

Hi Kathy, and welcome to BeoWorld and the UK! Thanks too, for joining as a Gold member and supporting the site.
I think a lot depends on what equipment you have. Some older B&O items have a switch on the back to change the voltage.
Depending on the wattage of the item, a simple converter can be obtained easily from Maplins or places like this.
Let us know which items you have, and if I can't help, some of our Wise Old Sages surely will.

I have a set of Samsung TV's 42" HD less than a year old.

My husbands xbox and wii new.

Dyson vacuum cleaner new

All the lamps.

coffee maker (gevalier)

Roomba

Everything that doesnt use much power we just bought a power down box from Maplins. The tv's and vacuum do consume a lot of power for that to be something we could do long term.

A lot of US 110 volt products can be used in the UK provided you use a step down transformer.
