Me hope so. Will not order a new TV until I've seen BV7-55 in real life.

It would also make sense to give the "high end lcd tv" BV 7-55 a LED display first and not first into a mid range 5000-6000 euro TV wouldn't it?

Most of the people on the forum think that the BV 7-55 will be released before the BV 10....

Dealer told me this Saturday that BeoVision 10-40 - which should be LED back lit - should come this year. And that BeoVision 7-55 - also LED back lit - should come early next year.

I'd be pretty disappointed if B&O released a mid-range 40" LCD screen with LED backlighting, but couldn't get that in to their top-of-the-range BV7-40 MKIV, only a few months earlier. We all know that an LED backlit screen will be far better, contrast-wise, than a standard LCD screen.

Actually that will depend on their OEM supplier. At some point one of two things will happen (possibly both), either the image qualty will meet B&O's requirements, or Samsung will stop building the current panels leaving B&O with no choice. Likely not too far in the future.

Depends entirely upon the definition of 'soon'. In terms of B&O that can be anywhere between 2011 & 2020!
