&lt;p&gt;I love the DACMagic but its a pain to have to switch it on each time I use it (am afraid to leave it on 24/7) + When I connect some other digital sound sources I&amp;#39;ll have to switch the input source manually using the button on the front!&lt;/p&gt;

I have a DACMagic. It sounds great. I&amp;#39;m happy with the sound quality but I&amp;#39;m having a bit of hassle controlling the sound using software on my Macbook. So I&amp;#39;m start to think about changing it to Apogee Duet since it has a nice little volume control but it is a bit more expensive. I have 10 more days opportunity to return my DACMagic to the shop.&lt;/p&gt;
