According to my dealer - and Trip is merely a dealer - he hasn't seen it, apart from receving a briefing on the specs, which have been posted here many many many times.

If the chassis and panel are the same as the BV8, one would assume the PQ would be either the same or slightly improved. No-one knows anything else! I don't see the point of starting these BV10 topics until we have more info.

Yes, as same chassis means same electronic, same upscaler... So we can not say that the picture of the BV10 will differ a lot from the BV8 concerning elements that are due to the processor.

But the LCD screen may be different, the backlight also, and there will be a contrast screen, so theses elements will maybe add a better black level, and the maximum viewing angle will surely be different... So wait and see!

Koning... nobody has seen the BV10... so we can't say anything about the picture quality. Same chassis is not the same as picture quality
