&lt;p&gt;If the spring which centres and holds the disc in place has disintegrated then I am afraid there is not much you can do. If the CD mech no longer recognises or plays your CD&amp;#39;s then it is probably a faulty C2103 on the servo board and you should search this forum for a solution. Simply enter &amp;quot;C2103&amp;quot; in the Search box and you will be amazed!!&lt;/p&gt;

I was told by the B&amp;amp;O service centre that it cannot be replaced as the part is no longer made. They also told me that you cannot use the Cd player from the 9500.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is this all correct? Is there any other way? Can a CD50 mechanism be used?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;d love to see it working again...&lt;/p&gt;
