Try some headphones if you have some and see if it is the 3000 rather than the speakers. If not, and it is the speakers, is it getting worse. If so, I would have them looked at. How old are the 6000s? I have a Beosound 3000 connected to Beolab 6000, and recently i&amp;#39;ve begun to notice a quiet &amp;quot;hiss&amp;quot; when listening to cd&amp;#39;s above volume 40-ish. I can&amp;#39;t tell whether this is a problem with the speakers or just me being fussy. I also have a Beosound 1 and dont seem to notice a hiss when listening to it.
