Hi Nikola,

Trying to make out what your picture shows. Two phonos and a loose wire?

My 1203 has a 5pin DIN plug that goes into the record deck socket on the back of my BM1200. If you have got to deal with a loose wire anyway, isn't your best option to remove the phonos and rewire all the connections into a new 5pin DIN plug?

Graham

I would definitely do that. I hate "extra" adapters, the grounding would be a hassle, and I'm sure Nikola's 1202 will never again be used with a non-B&O amp anyway

Thanks Kokomo

So, I need 5pin DIN plug ?

Yes, you will need a 5 pin for stereo, although only 3 is used on record deck.

So, I need 5pin DIN plug ?

Others may have the PIN configurations to hand, but I believe although the plug may be a 5 pin only the left/right audio will be wired to the necessary pins in the plug. The DIN plug, like the scart, has certain pins designated to appropriate functions so you can be pretty certain that a din - phono lead will be wired appropriately. If the DIN plug has fewer pins but is still wired to twin phonos that will be OK.

These leads should be widely available in shops also internet of course.

I'm sure you know this but worth a mention I think, from your photo you seem to need din - phono female. Make sure you don't make the error of getting din - phono male
