Technically, no this is the way the system you have is intended to operate. You might be able to get around it by using the "AV" feature. If it isn't present already, add the "AV" item to the Beo4's list. Then press V. Tape to bring the Mini on screen. Tap "list" untill "AV" appears on the Beo4, then press CD.

Hello everybody.

I previously wrote a thread regarding the same problem but I never found a solution to my problem.

The thing is that I'd like to connect a mac mini to my stereo (Beolab 5s, Beolab 9s, Beovision 5, Beosound 9000). I currently have my cdplayer connected with the digital connect directly to my Beolab 5s and I have connected my mac mini in the same way. When I press "CD" on my Beo4, having connected the mac mini with the digital connecting everything works fine. I hear the music playing from my computer.

But that won't get me any picture so my idea is to connect the video through the V.Tape connecting and the audio directly with coax to the Beolab5s. But when I choose the V.Tape channel I can't get any sound. I have gone through the menus and everything but I can't find a solution.

Is this fixable? Please help me.
