I have recently bought a new pair of Beolab 5 and a used MKI Beosound 9000. I use the digital output from the 9000`to the lab5s. The sound is really great, but I feel that there is a lack of deep bass. I have tried other CD-players from other brands (Marantz, Cambridge and NAD) and those three players had much deeper and more powerful bass than the 9000. (I used the digital output when I tried this players also)

Does anybody know if there is something wrong with my Beosound 9000 or is it just the "B&O-way" of sound (i.e smooth sound).

I hope someone can help me with this bass-question regarding the digitalfeed of 9000 to labs5.

Regards
Martin
