The RLs are the same regarding mounts - only the largest (140/7000) are different, and I guess the smallest (35/1000?) as well. The poles seem pretty rare, but I don't know about how sought after.. In my case, it was the only practical mounting solution, and I couln't believe my luck when I found a pair locally for 50 euros just when needed!

Redline Ceiling Poles

I have recently acquired a set of RL ceiling pole mounts... I don't actually have any redlines to use them with yet but have a few questions!

Are they suitable for all sizes?

I'm looking at finding a pair of RL60.2s to use with them - How will they sound? I know RLs are not hailed as particularly great speakers but I wonder how they perform ceiling mounted. I had a pair once which were positioned on the floor under the eaves of a loft room and they sounded absolutely great. I think the bass response was massively improved due to the acoustics being generated by the weird shape of the room but I am not overly convinced that they won't sound rubbish mounted high up in an open space like that!

Any advice appreciated, I quite like the look of them on the ceiling poles but want them to sound good too!

Are the pole mounts particularly rare or sought after? I have never came across any before!

Thanks
