Thanks for you reply!

Nothing in the surrounding environment has changed and no wires or connections have been moved.

This morning I noticed that some horizontal lines were even there when the BL3500 wasn't connected, but in a less concentrated way.

I'll try the wire thing this evening!

Based on your "Problem Statement" it sounds like you have some king of interference or pickup from another source.

You appear to be saying that everything has worked without problems until yesterday, if so, then my first question would be:-

Has anything changed in the surrounding environment in the room?
Have any wires or connections been moved ?

Given, that the problem apparently went away when you removed the Beolab 3500 tends to lead me to think that you are receiving RF (Radio Frequency) interference which can often be more apparent in hot weather. Like most modern products, B&O products do not have a mains earth connection, so this does mean that large metal surfaces such as the case of the Beolab 3500 can make very good aerials.

The way to prove if your problem is RF interference is with the Beolab 3500 conencted and the problem on the screen connect an earth wire to the case of the Beolab 3500, if the problem goes away you know the problem is caused by RF interference.

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me with my problem. Yesterday, when I switched on my Beovision 4, I noticed some horizontal lines on the screen. These lines appear on every channel and also when I play a dvd. The weird thing is that these lines dissapear when I pull out the plug from my centerspeaker. This centerspeaker is a Beolab 3500. I know this is an odd combination, since the Beolab is a link product, but this one has a powerlink connection, and it was a real bargain! And it has been working perfect for months now.

This is my entire setup:

TV: Beovision 4 42, DVD: Beocenter 2, front: Beolab 8000, rear: Beolab 3, woofer: Beolab 2, center Beolab 3500.

Please guys, help me out!
