&lt;p&gt;As ever thanks for that where would the forum questioner&amp;#39;s be without you!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I thought it would work(albeit a little cumbersome)&amp;nbsp;but wanted confirmation before chasing said active which would obviously be useable in the future if more active speakers crop up!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;would it be possible to use a linked active box to run an mcl2p amp and passive speakers and be able to control it thro&amp;#39; an ir eye?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i realise it is a very messy way to operate , just trying to use spare bits of kit!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If it is anyone out there got a spare active box?&lt;/p&gt;
