&lt;p&gt;Once the LED on the base station flashes red (after keeping the small button between the charging pins pressed for a few seconds) you need to go into menu 7 of the handset (press DOT and then 7). Here you can re-register the handset.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Alternatively you can also reset the handset which will automatically bring in to asking for registration.&lt;br /&gt;Resetting the handset is very similar to resetting the base station. Press&amp;nbsp;DOT 7 0 0 0&amp;nbsp;9.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;What have we done wrong &amp;amp; how do we fix it please?&lt;/p&gt;
