I&amp;#39;m fixing the BM5000 for a customer, and when someone delivers a remote (two in this case) I&amp;#39;m expecting them to work with the brought tuner.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanx :)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There is probably&amp;nbsp;nothing wrong with the MCP7700 - it just won&amp;#39;t work with the beomaster 5000 as it uses different codes. The MCP7700 was designed to be used with the &lt;a href="http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=407"&gt;Beocenter 7700&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

I have checked the IR LED&amp;#39;s and they seem to be transmitting (all of them, checked with scope).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The MCP 7000 keeps saying &amp;quot;No Transmission&amp;quot; no matter what I do.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Any ideas? Could it be related to the two-way transmission in any way?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;PS: The BM5000s fault was in the power amplifier output (shorted power transistor).&lt;/p&gt;
