Normally not. Currency fluctuation. In fact when I moved here it was so expensive that I bought a BS2300 BL2500 combination in Germany and took it with me . Also, your price in the UK includes 20% or so tax, in US sales tax will be added to the posted price.

B&O had at some point a storefron on Amazon which we all lamented on here as beeing a mistake for the brand.

This item is actually sold by B&O and they won't ship to the UK even though Amazon itself would do.

Beosound 3 U.S. useable in UK?

Hi, just saw that Amazon U.S. are selling the Beosound 3 at $499 (just over £300). Would this work out cheaper than U.K., after shipping, duty and VAT, and would the unit work here?

Alternatively, does anyone know the going rate for one in good condition, boxed, in the UK? I've looked on auction sites, but can't find any.
