all the advice! Think I will return it to my dealer at the end of this week. Made
a vow to myself not buying any more B&O-stuff this year... Must admit
though that it is an absolutely fantastic remote, even when it isn't working
properly and is pretty unpractical for everyday use. Oh well, will think it

If the 5000 works 2 way then the TV is also OK!!!!! Try removing and adding again and make sure you are directly in front of the TV!!

Re: Beolink 7000 - no contact

Well, I tried panel -> setup -> system -> components -> video. There I removed tv, video, sat etc, stored it and entered it again. I assume this is the right way? I can operate the tv, but the remote still reads "no contact." At first my audio equipment (in another room and one-way) didn't respond to the remote at all, but that works fine now after removing and entering the components again!

Could there be something wrong with the bl7000 (the 2way communication on the bl5000 works, so the tv is fine), or am I missing something? When I press 'source' tv, video, radio, cd etc. are listed, but when I press 'control' I only see radio, cd etc. or has this nothing to do with it?

Re: Beolink 7000 - no contact

You need to remove the video sources from the panel, save the settings, and then add them back on and save the settings. The BL7000 basically sends a test signal out when you add a component and if it receives a signal back, logs that component as two way. If no signal is received, it notes it as one way.Your dealer will have been using it in one way with a TV set. Do you know how to remove and add components?

Beolink 7000 - no contact

Yesterday
my dealer offered me to borrow a beolink 7000 so I could have a play with it
with my AV 9000. An offer which I couldn’t resist of course!

However,
according to its behaviour, I assume the remote is set for one-way
communication with the tv and two-way for audio. I can control the tv, but the
remote doesn’t receive any information back. How do I set it to two-way??? Many
thanks in advance!
