&lt;p&gt;Alternatively, it may be Picture Picture Picture (until it shows &amp;#39;Stand&amp;#39; on the screen) then the arrows.&lt;br /&gt;If I am wrong, someone will surely correct me shortly.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have just inherited my Gran&amp;#39;s LX5000 complete with motorised stand and a Beolink 1000 remote control.&amp;nbsp; I have all the original instruction booklets etc, including the original sale letters!! None of which seem to shed any light on how I make the stand move via the Beolink 1000.&amp;nbsp; I know it does/did do it as my Gran showed me many moons ago when the TV was state of the art! If anyone knows how to do this please could you let me know.&amp;nbsp; I only intend to use the TV until I can afford a new LCD, but would like to understan how it all works.... Thansk in advance.&lt;/p&gt;
