The Vincent will also be fine with the M-100s as it also has plenty of current delivery ability. I have heard both amplifiers and they are both excellent but, I would personally go for the Naim - I have a SuperNait in my main system and love it to bits!

Of course, the important thing is to try and listen to both and let YOUR ears decide, as it's them that will be listening to the result!

The Naim Nait 5i will have no problems driving M100s as it has very good characteristics at driving difficult loads - the M100s do dip into the low values of impedance.

I have a pair of Beovox M-100 speakers that I still enjoy listening to. I'm about to purchase a new amp/preamp or integrated amp. Before doing so I'd like to know the sensitivity of the M-100's. I can't seem to find the sensitivity as a "dB rating"...I only see it listed as 5W. How does that compare to a more typical dB rating (i.e. 86 dB, 90dB, et cetera)? Also, is an amp rated at 50W RMS enough power to drive these speakers? What is the minimum power output that I should be looking for in an amp? I'm thinking of purchasing either the Naim Nait 5i or the Vincent SV-236MKII. Is anyone familiar with either of these amps? Are either a good "match" for these speakers? Any advice? Thanks!
