Great! - utilising program number 60 solved the storing issue, and your other suggestion on clearing redundant channels has also worked.

It is a pity this is not documented in the manual........?

Many thanks for your help!!

In order to delete a program try the following:

- switch to the programm
- enter the tuning menu
- highlight STORE then press V (arrow down)

STORE will change to CLEAR

- press GO

Storing new Link Frequency - MX4002

I have had to change the link frequency settings between my Avant and the MX4002 link TV. For some unknown reason, the default frequency setting of 599 MHz has stopped functioning, possibly due to new digital TV transmissions? The link frequency is used to transmit Satellite (Sky+) from the main room Avant to the 4002 upstairs, and also accommodates the downstairs Overture and DVD1

I have re-set the link frequency on both the Avant and the 4002 to 639 MHz, and once again I get a fantastic picture on the 4002. Full functionality is back to normal – almost!

The issue is I cannot store the new link frequency on the 4002. In the 4002 Menu -> Setup I have set the new frequency, then pressed GO on the Beo4 once,(and twice), but as soon as I switch over to TV and then back to SAT, the new link frequency setting has been lost and returns to the default 599 Mhz.

The workaround is to constantly go back into the 4002 menu and reset the link frequency to 639 Mhz - tiresome!

Has anyone any idea how I permanently store the new link frequency using the Beo4 on the 4002?

Also, how do you delete analogue channels on the 4002? Channel 5 has now been switched off in our area, but I cannot find any reference in the manual to removing “redundant” channels.
