These are not easily available and B&O would replace it with a D10 screen. Needless to say this is only the screen so you will not be that much better off though it will be an improvement and clearly will be new. Your insurance company should stump up though! The only complication is that the screen has different fixings and so they will take away your frame to drill some different mounting holes in it! (The back, not the front! )

You should do this via a B&O dealer.

Re: Beovision 4 panel screen cracked

Well spotted Luke! The worst thing you can do is replace the screen with the same one that went in it. I heard morethanAV have recently demonstrated a BV4-42 1080p so with a little work and relatively straightforward modifications it can be done but there are issues worth finding out about.

Re: Beovision 4 panel screen cracked

The cheapest thing would be to buy a original plasma display (same as the BV 4 uses)

I don't know but I thought other people here had done this

http://www.morethanav.co.uk/ are advertising a BV4-65 that also had it's screen replaced for the same reason. So it can be done obviously.
It the midst of preparing the walls to take cables etc and to make sure wall bracket was fitted to take the weight of the panel on a stud parition wall I had my panel propped at an optimum slant with all sorts of blankets etc and where it had been for the last 2 weeks without being disturbed. Just I was taking measurements etc I turned to double check the wall where it was going and the screen was on the floor on its back.

Sick was not the word !!!! I felt my entire beolife slip through my fingers.

Help what can I do? Is it possible to repair? The screen is the first generation 50" screen and is 2004 model not HD. I need to know my options before I call the insurance company in.
