Have you tried taking it apart and cleaning it? You need to rough up the ends of the metal bits that make contact with the switch as far as I remember! (Its a long time since I have repaired one!)&lt;/p&gt;

All other keys work fine. I&amp;#39;ve installed new batteries; checked the micro switch with a multimeter and appears fine. Having searched the forums, this sounds like not an uncommon fault. However, I&amp;#39;m not sure where to go from here. Could this be a faulty opto sensor? If so, where could I purchase one from? Any other things to try?&lt;/p&gt;
