Bought an iMac 24 a few weeks ago, latest model with the upgraded RAM and hard disk. Running Bootcamp with Vista Ultimate and Leopard in two equally divided partitions. Love the design too. Really starting to get into the MAC a lot. Vista runs at a stupidly but very satisfying speed! Noticed that the sound drivers for Vista (supplied by Apple Driver Supplement DVD) aren't great though; they don't make proper use of the soundcard and the sound is muffled compared to when in Leopard. A minor hiccup though all things considered. its great to have the best of both worlds.

On my 3y old portable is noticably faster than Vista. And it just runs smoother than XP.

I've now installed it on a brandnew iMac 24" (with the ATI HD graphics) @ 3.06Ghz and 4Gb ram... It's blistering fast.. It's a delight to run Photoshop CS4 and Lighroom 2! No hickups, no crashes (yet).. Can't complain at the moment.

And.. I know.. abusing an iMac for running Windows... It's just that I like the design of the iMac.. and can't find the software I need on OSX. So no flaming please :-)

Re: Win7 & Beosound 2

And how do you find 7 (beta) compared to XP and Vista? Less cluttered? Quicker?
