Razlaw you're back! My personal moderator. I wondered when you you'd be back (as I was avoiding you ;)

Forums are supposed to be discussion points where you start a topic and then, well, discuss. Traditionally, if you want to ask a question that's been asked before, the first thing you should do is run a search to see if the queston has already been answered. In this instance, there's a discussion on BV7-40 MKIV specs on page 3 - a 15 second check or search would have answered the question.

If you want to encourage people to ask the same questions and start new threads - as you did in the other thread, where you looked for the discussions yourself and posted the links - then that's your perogative!

BTW "sole subjective personal opinion is unwarranted" sounds absolutely bonkers.

Yes, it will play CDs and so on. Those specs were posted on this forum only last week!

Stopped in for a quick look at this thread and as I now know what it is about, I will not need to return to this thread as I am not interested in a Blu-Ray upgrade, but I am wondering why you find it so personally offensive when somebody posts a thread that in your sole subjective personal opinion is unwarranted?

Does anyone have any info on the Blu Ray player specification inside the BV7 MkIV?

As usual very limited info on the B&O site.

I ma thinking specifically about up sampling and CD playing that is assuming it will play CD's.
