Hi,

Try selecting SHIFT with LIST. Then 9 0 3 6 9. Don't press GO.

Yes, it should work with a BS3000. Works on my BS3200. Good luck!

Should this work with Beosound 3000?

Somehow I cannot get the glass doors locked.. I'm using Beo4. and I have added SHIFT command to under list function.

this is how I've tried that:

1. select SHIFT from list and press GO
2. type 9 0 3 9 6
3. usually nothing happens. but if there is some other functions added inder list, it activates that function. or if I used radio/aux/cd before selecting shift system turns on and starts using that function when pressing GO..

Please help me, my 10 months old daughter is too interested about those magic glass doors

if this is not ment to work with Beosound 3000. is it possible to cover the IR sensors with black tape etc to prevent doors opening? (I use small piece of transparent tape to 'lock' my beogram 7000 dust lid)

Unfortunately, the locking facility implemented on the Ouverture does NOT exist on the Century

Old thread but similar question. Is there a way to lock the doors in the BeoSound Century? The solution proposed above does not work.

Hey I can't get my Ouverture out of standby mode. I have tried the Shift >90369 but nothing happened.

After you pressed LIST and found SHIFT, did you press OK before pressing 9 etc ?

This procedure works for the Beosound 3200 and I think its the same for the Ouverture

The glass doors can only be locked if your Beosound is in Standby.

Press SHIFT 9 0 3 6 9 with no more than 2 seconds between the individual numbers being entered.
The display shows “LOCKED”.
To unlock the glass doors press SHIFT 9 0 3 6 9 with no more than 2 seconds.
The display shows “UNLOCKED”.
The function will be saved in NVRAM if you disconnect from mains.

If you are using the Beo4 then you will need to add the SHIFT command to your LIST before doing the above.

Hi Beoworld members hope you guys are all well!!

Can you lock the doors on a Beosound Ouverture? Is so how do you do it?

Also I have my Ouverture connected to my Avant via materlink – problem! when I’m listening to CD Radio ect the stand on the Avant return to its off position after a few seconds and if I press stand on my beo4 the TV turns on!! Is there away of moving the Avant whilst listening to music?
