Apparently the red lines just denote the modules that have just been updated and not that they are not installed correctly. Lets see, in 10 mins, im off to find out :)

Not here, no red lines. Also, I'm sure the guys who said red lines mean that the sw isn't installed properly, are telling the truth - there are a lot of people on here who do their own TV sw updates.

Re: BV7-40MK3 + Software 5.08a = BluRay WHITE FLASHES AGAIN!

Thanks :)

Tim, we can't offer you any more advice. You just need to be more tough with both your dealer and B&O. Don't accept 'no' or 'it works' as answer and sort it out with them. We can't make it work remotely. Only your dealer can do that for you.

Re: BV7-40MK3 + Software 5.08a = BluRay WHITE FLASHES AGAIN!

Any other advise guys?

Re: BV7-40MK3 + Software 5.08a = BluRay WHITE FLASHES AGAIN!

I just called the Service centre and got abused over the phone...

Hi Timhanna

Can you enter in the Customer Service Menu pressing Red+Red+Go and look if there are any SW line in red colour? If the update was incorrectly, you will see some red lines.

Hi, where do i press red+red+go? on the main menu?

In the main menu, highlighting Options, press Red+Red+Go. You will see SW Ver. Press Go and look at the lines.

HAHAHA UNBELIEVABLE, red items are:

H8 SW 05.08A

M2 SW 05.74A

DMS DSP SW 04.15A

DSM FEP SW 04.15A

AVS FRP 0.500S

DVE FEP SW 05.06A

PW SW 05.06A

Versions are correct, but if they are in red, something is wrong. Your BV will need a new update. The correct way to do it, is updating first manually the H8 module, and then, update the other ones automatically.

Good luck!
