If you have the IR transceiver connected, you can control the devices connected to the input sockets. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Will also work with passive speakers and an MCL2P.&lt;/p&gt;

I figured i might maybe work if you supplied the mcl2av with sufficient power through the mcl connection, to cheat the unit that it is connected to a main system. I could of course try this myself but the only beolabs i have are beolab 2000 and they do not come in handy here.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
