Actually, I beg to differ...

I had a pair of Lab 4 PCs connected to a B&O stereo. I got some custom made mini jack -> 5 pin din cables made and they worked a treat!!

If I understand you right, it would be better for me to buy the standart-version if I don't want to run them exclusively on my computer?!

I'm not sure if they even can, but if they could, it'd require a complete rebuild & chassis swap which would be very, very costly (in comparison to the difference between selling the PC speakers and buying the full versions).

The other omission is the position switch, which I found to be sonically massively advantageous when using mine.

Does that mean that they can never be used with a B&O system, or can they be "upgraded/ changed"?

Hi Tom, the PC version does not have any Powerlink connections. Only 3.5mm Jackplugs.

I am considering purchasing a pair op BL4 to connect to my iMac. On the frensh forum, I found a price list that lists two different BL4s, a standart version and a PC version, the latter is about 150€ less expensive than the standart version.

What is the difference between the two versions? I have not found any manuals or specificaitons for two different versions, neither on Beowold, nor on the official site.
