Hi,

If you do Record Record then it asks for the tape but if you record while on the DVD itself you can record from the Tuner to the Hard Disk.

Not sure if that's meant to happen or not!

Sorry but everytime I read AVANT VCR and DVD2, I get scared that the person that bought them didn't realise that you can't record to the HDD.. some issue about the Avant routing the RECORD command to the VCR as opposed to the DVD2.

Ok, so have managed to get hold of a DVD2 to replace my DVD1 on my RF Avant (Video) that has a Dolby DTS module installed.

Any gotchas / problems / issues that anyone can warn me about or do I just plug it in all and it works?

My thoughts where to set it up as DVD and run the exterior aerial through it with a digital co-ax cable through to one (which one?) of the co-ax ports on the Dobly module in the Avant.

Anything else I should do?
