the picture of the amp is actually the second of the speaker pictures.

Well, after a bit of detective work:

http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k211/Stefan1973/HPIM1975.jpg

That amp belongs to the Beolab 5000 system from 1967-72 and is definitely very collectable (but you now have to find the matching Beomaster 5000 tuner as well! )

On that amp, you can use either the RCAs or the DINs, they are connected in parallel. This is one of the finest amplifiers of its time, but technically, the Beomaster 4400 is newer technology and better. Being the top if its line, it is very much worth keeping as well. I'd use the 4400 for everyday listening - the markings on the 5000 fascia are prone to wear off, and if you still have them all left, it will be more valuable as a collector's item.

Re: Hello guys and a Question

Hi

hello there . Long time ago i visited this site :)

I see u still use my old picture for the Beovox 1500 speaker here

I did just for fun take a look in my cellar and they still stands there and did take a couple off shots again . That are free to u to use if u want to :)

http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k211/Stefan1973/HPIM1976.jpg

http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k211/Stefan1973/HPIM1977.jpg

Anyway i have tripped over a old Beolab5000 amp. that i have stand untesded for aprox 10 years . Just turned it in for maintence/service.

Do have 1 pic on it http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k211/Stefan1973/HPIM1977.jpg Wondering about what year etc etc it can be ??

And thinking about use it as my Amp in my stereoset . I do have a Old beomaster 4400 .

But i dont know beolab have RCA that fits my other gear better then convert everything to DIN ,

So i want opinions in what can be best to use ?

and yes i do play LP & CD
