It is to control the DVD with the Beo5, directly without PUC. I think Sony makes diferent remotes for each DVD they make, but I can&#39;t be sure. I have checked the PUC list on this forum and&nbsp;did see&nbsp;the Sony 1010 and 780,&nbsp;but not this&nbsp;specific model. Does anyone know&nbsp;if it would work?</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
