This is normal behaviour if the phone does not recognize or receive any Caller ID. The reason for the phone not recognizing the Caller ID could be:

1. The phone is broken.
2. The phone is not designed for your country (there are different protocols for different countries).
3. Your TSP does not send out Caller ID (then it wouldn't work on any of your phones).
4. The Caller ID transmitted on the phone line does not meet the requirements.

I would suspect one of the 2 first cases to be the reason.

I am new to the B&O family as recently I received as a gift a BeoCom 2500. The phone is second hand and my friend bought through ebay. The design is amazing and I really love it.

The problem is that according to my friend and the web the phone should support caller id. Unfortunately mine, as it is now, it doesn't. Instead when I am ringing it with my mobile all the screen is turned to black (the pixels) and the little bell appear. This is happening while the phone rings and among rings the screen is dead. Also the little red light on the top right corner is dead and it doesn't indicate that there was a missed call.

I would appreciate if you have any suggestions.

Kind Regards

Versatile
