&lt;p&gt;any one got the process for freeing up the DTV button, in the future i will want to free up DVD also for an external dvd player.&lt;/p&gt;

However, it seems that there were some extra steps like powering Off or On in a particular fashion in conjunction with the service menu selection.  Can anyone else confirm?
