Looks like the modified iPod dock from the german website http://www.ibundo.de/

Here is a lint to the shop were you can buy it: http://www.lfd-technik.de/cms/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=3&Itemid=34&lang=de

Both sites are in german, there is a button for english language but nothing changes if you press it.

hope this helps

The idea was to run his MC35's directly from an iPod dock by replacing them as the original speakers without having to utilise a B&O amp.

The first answer was correct - not likely to work very well.

I'm having a thought about the iPod dock at my friend's house. It's a bit crap & everytime I am there I cringe at the sound. It so happens that I have some spare speakers atm (my old MC35s) & I'm thinking that if I open up the iPod dock, disconnect the internal speaker(s) & wire in the passives, I'll have a working iPod dock running through decent speakers?

Am I right in this or is this completely inaccurate due to some technical thingy that I've overlooked?
