If you are only linking 1 tv from the master you won&amp;#39;t need the amplifier.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A Aux works fine I believe I haven&amp;#39;t tried it myself, I take it your connecting an ipod or similar.&lt;/p&gt;

I do not have a local source on the MX. I do not have a Media center.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For your SAT box, connect the HDMI and the SCART at the same time if you want the BV7 to transit the signal to the BV1.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Basically the BV7 can only transmit sources connected to the SCART or the SD inputs, not the HDMI, DVI or Analog HD.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;(I feel like I am repeating myself).&lt;/p&gt;
