I would call the dealer and give him a heads up so that he can show up with the right cables.

Other then that its just sticking the STB controller in front of the eye and choosing the apple remote in the menu where the connections are set up.

Also, the BV comes with just 1 STB cable, so you may need another.

Cheers

There is an apple TV sitting there waiting to be plugged in! Is that an easy thing to set up?

I hope they call this week and arrange a time to bring it.

Re: Bought a new BV8-32 Yay

I'm with jk1002, I really like using the BV8's "PUC" to control the Apple TV via a Beo4.

I had used the Beo4 for several years on audio devices, but when used with the BV8, it really shines. I use my Beo4 to control the TV, the cable box, and the Apple TV. After awhile it becomes so intuitive that you can operate it in the dark. It's a true "one remote" solution, at least in this application.

Congrats on your new TV.

I agree that the Beo 5 might be overkill.

Since the BV8 can control Apple TV, how about one of those. I enjoy mine a great deal since I can control it through Beo4.

If you don't have any other B&O equipment, you won't need a Beo5. I got one a year ago, I have BV7 with speakers and an iPod connected to it. I haven't used the Beo5 for months. I would not say that Beo5 is overkill, it is a great toy.

Bought a new BV8-32 Yay

Ummm that's all I wanted to say.

It's just for the bedroom and it's really just as an entry into B&O TV's etc....

I didn't know that they prefer to deliver. I wanted to pack one into the car and drive off..

So anyway.... that B&O bus will be at my house later this week to install my new bedroom TV.

So excited !

Is there anything I should add to it ?? I was thinking maybe a Beo5 next month or is that overkill for this TV ?
