Have a look through the options, they are nice solutions.

Thanks for coming back so quickly. I think I might have confused you slightly. I already have it running through the Avant via a Scart lead but have had to position it to the side of the TV.

What I was really asking I think could the unit be attached to the Avant maybe via a bracket or something and still remain operational?

The unit is a compact AV system DAV-S800 which is also coupled up to the surround sound speakers.

Thanks

Tracy

Re: Attaching a Sony 5.1 amp/DVD player to an Avant

Hi OllieBollie,

Yes, this should be possible via SCART leads. All Avant models have plenty of SCART sockets and most Sony products have these fitted as well. for best results, use a good quality SCART cable with all 21 pins wired.

Best regards,

Steve.

PS. That's not a silly question at all!

Attaching a Sony 5.1 amp/DVD player to an Avant

Sorry if this appears to be a silly question but I was just wondering if there is anyway I can do this - as I am currently struggling with an alternative solution as to where to put it.

Currently it is sitting on a trunk at the side of the Avant but I am finding that it is distracting from the lines of the Avant.

Any suggestions/help would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance
