I'm a novice so forgive me if this is a silly question. Further to your suggestion how would I attempt to bend the back support spring up a little. Would I have to remove the deck and if so how?

Re: beocenter 2200

On all B&O decks of this era, there are three springs that support the deck. I would suggest bending the back one up a little to see if that makes a difference. Most of the decks also allow a ltlle adustment laterally of these springs though I have not taken apart a 2200 to know the limit of this in these Beocenters. There is a releasing nut at the end of the spring that when loosened will allow a mm or so of play.

beocenter 2200

Hi just purchased a second hand beocenter 2200. One problem, when i try to play a record the turntable scrapes slightly against the back of the player. It is not enough to stop playback but is very distracting. I've gone through the user manual and the player is placed on a level area. Any ideas?
