Not like the beo4, the screen is connected to the mainboard on the BL5000.

Archie. See if you can find somebody who will lend a Beolink 7000 to you. You only need it for a few minutes!

Yes but it's necessary to take off the rear panel and put something in short circuit for acces to test mode

If you download the service manual it may have the service code to re-set everything.

As far as I know it is only possible to reset the timer play function with a two way remote, i.e. Beolink 5000 or Beolink 7000. The only thing you can choose without the remote is whether the sound should be on or not (cannot rememember which button to press but I guess you have managed to do this already?).

Perhaps there is some kind of mastercode to reset the complete system but I guess that's a question for your dealer or local service technician then.

the tape of my beosystem 2500 play each monday at 21h05, i push the "clear' button but each monday it's the same thing, how to reset the programation ?
