Plug in a DIN to RCA converter and the stereosignal will come out of two of the four RCA leads, use balance to identify left from right. Cut of the other two leads&amp;nbsp;if you want...&lt;/p&gt;

You won&amp;#39;t get any signal at all, only the interference from the cable.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So: is it possible to connect the pins 13/14 and 15/16 from a Masterlink cable to, say, RCA plugs and expect to have a working, (pre-amplified?) line-level output for a power amplifier? Ie. is there something else I need to do in order for the audio device to recognize that Masterlink is connected to something?&lt;/p&gt;
