I have an Avant TV with a DVD Controller Mk II Type 4047

This Scart cable connects to the TV and DVD player, it has an additional IR eye which sits in front of the IR display of the DVD player and allows control of non B&O DVD players using the Beo4 remote.

The non B&O DVD players it works with is rather dated now, but I have an excellent Panasonic DVD-A360 which is a much better player than either the B&O DVD1 or DVD2 players, even the built in DVD player on the newer Avants is not up to the usual high quality B&O standards we have all come to love and cherish :-)

I would suggest that you go for linktronic or you can contact Beowrold member Ulf who can actually convert any DVD player you want to become compatible with Beo4. I already have 2 converted from Ulf for many years and they are still working perfectly!!!

can you tell me, are there any recommended DVD players that you can control via the Beo4, or do i have to go down the Lintronic route to use them?
