( Fingers crossed )&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Could it of been dust in the connections ???. Any way its put a smile back on my face now. music at last&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There are so many cable options available for Powerlink&amp;nbsp;that it should rarely be necessary to join cables together on site.&amp;nbsp; I would suggest completely disconnecting the existing cabling (from both BS9000 and the speakers) and then trying one speaker at a time with a new, good quality cable.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I will be surprised if this doesn&amp;#39;t solve the problem &lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/05.gif" alt="Wink" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;By the way, if you do still&amp;nbsp;want to have both speakers run into one Powerlink socket via a &amp;quot;Splitter&amp;quot; cable, let me know and I can sort out a more robust solution for you.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My guess is one of the soldered cables has split at the switching pin. &amp;nbsp;Try one fresh cable to one speaker first to test the BS9000...&lt;/p&gt;

Would there be any sound difference if i split the speaker cables @ the 9000, into 2 x outputs&lt;/p&gt;
