I tried as suggested and Im still having the same problem.. (I havent tried with a PC as i dont have one). NRADIO gets stuck, or it allows me to move the channel once, put the display on the beocentre 2 doesn't change.. Then the bmlink link freezes and i have to shut everything down

Any other bright ideas??

Regards

I've never had such problems and I do use N.Radio quite alot through my link.

Re: BEOPORT- Please HELP!!!!!

I've experienced similar behavior... also with BM Link and Mac. I don't use N.Radio that much so I've never bothered with trying to solve it.

- Select one N.RADIO radio station for 35 minutes via Beo4 from linked room with BS 2000.

- Station was http://stream.npr.org:8000/

- System thereafter switched back and forth to other stations for one hour via Beo4 from linked room with BS2000.

- Mac Mini, 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (1 yrs old), OS X 10.5.6

- BeoPort —Firmware 1.31

- BM-Link —v. 1.50.2

- iTunes —8.0.2 (20)

- Other critical settings:

- a. Mac Mini operating system set to not look for system updates automatically. The "you have system updates ready to install" system pop up made the Mac unresponsive to BeoPort.

- b. Mac Mini set to shut down automatically at 3:55 am and re-boot at 4:00 am, every day. It also falls asleep after 15 mins of inactivity and wakes up the second any B&O Master Linked product is turned on around the house.

- c. iTunes Preferences set to not check for new software updates automatically.

I would be particularly mindful of software that automatically checks for updates. OS X might tend to check for updates at a moment when no other demanding tasks are being requested of the system, such as 20 minutes into playing a radio station.

Best of luck,

BEOPORT- Please HELP!!!!!

Hi All

I've posted a similar issue previously.. the issue continues to plague me.

I've recently had my beoport repaired as it stopped working altogether. B&O couldnt tell me what was done with it, but after 5 five weeks it came back to me repaired. It was suggested they basically gave it a new inside...

Im using a beoport connected to a mac and beocentre 2.

N.MUSIC works just fine....

N.RADIO however is driving me crazy... It works fine for a period and i can change stations using the remote. However, if one station is left to play for say more than 20 minutes or so the link between the beoport, the remote and computer appears to be broken, i.e it keeps playing (so the internet hasnt dropped out) I can't however change the station. The BM link icon then has the coloured spinning wheel appear above it, indicating it is stuck. I then have to reboot the computer, switch off beocentre 2 and start again......

I'm using a mac mini (was previously using an imac in another room) and itunes. I've reinstalled the BM Link software several times...

I've sent a number of emails to Anders Odlund, but he hasn't replied to my last couple of emails of a some months back.. I guess he's busy.

Any suggestions- this is ruining what is really a nice product..
