now my problem is that i have to find another quality scart lead to replace this one

If its gone it is somewhere in the area of BV7 .. next step would be to remove all connected sources, dvd players, cable/sat boxes, and see if it still there or not. Then add a source 1-by1 to see when it appears.

Re: help or advice needed

Thing is I changed all the cables yesterday and run a new PL cable to the speaker and got the same results, Classic FM, this continued even when i changed the speaker and mains lead, the speaker in question is on the longest run of cable and does not pass over any other cables.

I also tried both PL mk2 and PL mk3 with the same results

Seriously though, I hope you get it sorted, it would appear that one of your cables is acting as an aerial.

so I am still lost, I disconnected the beosound 3000 but I still pick up radio signals in the speaker, can anone shed some light on this its driving me mad now

beovision 7

beolab 8000 / 6000

beolab 2

beosound 3000

my lab 6000 are rears and when on, pick up classic fm, even tho the radio is not on, so if watching TV or a movie and you have it in speaker 5, you get the full sound from the TV and also in the background the radio.

now i know its not coming from the beosound 3000 as i have removed this, so its coming from the mains or cabling. what can be done to eliminate this.
