Hi Adam,

Beolab 2500 speakers only have Powerlink inputs, so you need a Powerlink Trigger Box if you want to use them with a non-B&O system. This generates the necessary signals to power up the speakers, otherwise they will remain in standby mode. Most Beolab speakers have a "Line In" mode for use with non-B&O equipment, but these speakers do not.

I need your help in this subject. I have bought a pair of Beolab 8000s and I would like to use the existing 2500s in a non B&O system, more specifically to a to of the line Denon Home Amp. with pre-amp section that can be maybe used. Could anyone give me some advise if there is a way to find a solution and utilize these speakers with such an amplifier?
